This training will cover:

  • Adverse Childhood Experiences Study
  • The relationship between trauma/toxic stress and attachment
  • The effects of trauma/toxic stress on the body and the brain of the developing child
  • Trauma-informed care
  • Survival responses and trauma triggers
  • Regulation
  • The legacies of social and historical trauma
  • Recognizing and building resilience
