Content will include:
* Setting respectful, clear boundaries.
* Teaching emotional intelligence by learning a language of feelings and needs.
* Exploring ourselves and our children through a lens of empathy and understanding.
* Exploring strategies and tools that will help you successfully  create the parenting relationship you want with your child.

Women’s Annual Retreat

DSC0026 300x246 RetreatsMothers, spouses, lovers, sisters, friends, caregivers – all have the opportunity to replenish their spirit in this special retreat created just for women.

We will focus on finding self-nourishment, healing, and support as well as on honoring all the phases of our lives.

The philosophy and practice of nonviolence in raising children is much more than just coping with each of the challenging moments that arise in our daily interactions with our children. It’s also about having a community that supports our own process.

This retreat will create a space to deepen our personal parenting practices, nurture each other in healing from past hurts, and build support with the women in our community.

Men’s Annual Retreat

fathers retreat 270x300 RetreatsDads are different than moms. We get that. But we still need support when it comes to raising our kids.

Helping fathers stay engaged in their children’s lives requires more than advocating for their physical presence.  We will work on increasing the emotional literacy and emotional intelligence of the fathers, who in turn can model that fluency with their children, giving them a priceless gift of early emotional competency.

This retreat is a chance for fathers to get some concrete, research-based information about how kids grow, and how we can be the kind of loving fathers we want to be.
